Harry Styles and Niall Horan hang out backstage at Rolling Stones concert

Wood tweeted a photo of the four of them together with this accompanying message: “Great to see you tonight @NiallOfficial & @Harry_Styles ~ glad you enjoyed the show! :)”

Horan tweeted after the concert: “Unbelievable experience tonight…massive thanks to @sallywood @ronniewood and @therollingstones a great gig..and for being so nice tonight.”

Styles simply tweeted, “The Rolling Stones.”

Lenny Kravitz (who worked with Rolling Stones lead singer Mick Jagger on Jagger’s 2001 solo album, “Goddess in the Doorway”), was also seen at the concert. The Daily Mail has paparazzi photos of Styles and Kravitz arriving and leaving separately at the show.

One Direction is the biggest-selling global act to emerge from “The X Factor.” The group has had No. 1 hits and sold-out tours in several countries.

The Rolling Stones’ June 24 concert in Washington, D.C., was the Stones’ last North American show on the Stones’ 2013 tour. The Stones are also doing concerts in England as part of the tour.

One Direction is on a world tour of arenas for most of 2013. The tour has announced concerts in Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand, Asia. In 2014, One Direction is headlining a stadium tour that has announced concerts so far in the U.K., Ireland and South America. One Direction’s 2014 tour is also expected to announce concerts in North America, Australia and New Zealand.

In 2012, there was a rumor that Styles was in talks to play Jagger in the movie “Exile on Main Street,” but Styles has denied that rumor.

In March 2012, Styles said that Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood wanted to work with One Direction someday. Styles told the Daily Mirror: “We were at a party a while ago and Ronnie said he wanted to come on with us and play guitar. I love the Stones, so I was like, ‘Cool.’ It’d be amazing.”
