FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda An internet hate campaign against The Circle host Yumi Stynes has intensified, with Network 10 reporting “extreme comments” as well as threats against her children.
Scathing comments have continued to pour onto the show’s Facebook page after Stynes and co-host George Negus mocked war hero Ben Roberts-Smith last Tuesday.
While Negus saw no shortage of criticism for suggesting Corporal Roberts-Smith wasn’t “up to it in the sack”, Stynes has received the brunt of vitriolic messages.
The Facebook page, as well as Stynes’ Twitter and Wikipedia pages, have been bombarded with racist attacks and physical threats against her and her children.
“We are concerned about the extreme nature of some of those comments and are monitoring them very closely,” a Network Ten spokesman told The Sydney Morning Herald.
“We will keep on monitoring the situation very closely, in terms of the online comments and Yumi’s personal situation.”
The outrage was caused by a segment on The Circle in which Stynes viewed footage of Corporal Roberts-Smith in a swimming pool and commented on the Victoria Cross winner’s intellect.
“He’s going to dive down to the bottom of the pool to see if his brain is there,” she said.
After a storm of outrage, Stynes said sorry to Corporal Roberts-Smith on television and over the phone.
But the apologies have not stopped advertisers staging an exodus from the show.
Mirvac Hotels and Resorts and Yoplait have both withdrawn their support of the show today, following the departure of Jamaica Blue, Swisse Vitamins and Big 4 Holiday Parks yesterday.
The most highly decorated member serving in the Australian armed forces, Corporal Roberts-Smith stormed two machine gun posts in Afghanistan in 2010.
