A woman died when she lost control of her car and it crashed into a tree in Victoria’s north-east.
Police believe the woman, aged in her 40s, was travelling west on Murray River Road at Talgarno when she lost control on a right-hand bend.
They believe she swerved onto gravel on the side of the road before crashing into a tree.
The woman was the only person in the car and died at the scene.
The death brings the state’s road toll to four, two more than the same time last year.
