A crash southeast of Melbourne has claimed the life of a woman whose car veered into the path of a truck.
Police believe the woman lost control of her vehicle while attempting to enter the Princes Freeway at Point Cook on Saturday morning.
The woman, believed to be aged in her 30s, was the only person in the car.
She died at the scene.
The male truck driver was not injured.
The crash brings the number of deaths on Victorian roads to 158 for 2012, down from 181 at the same time last year.
