Police have charged a 46-year-old woman after a fatal stabbing on Bribie Island, north of Brisbane.
A 47-year old man died in hospital after he was stabbed in the groin around 10:30pm on Saturday.
Detective Superintendent Maurice Carless says a 23-year-old Hervey Bay man, who lives in the same apartment block, was also taken to hospital with stab wounds, but they were not serious injuries.
The motive for the attack remains unclear.
The woman has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court on Monday charged with murder and attempted murder.
