Whitney Houston: ‘powdery white substance’ found in her hotel room

The tub, in which she was found naked, was filled with about a foot of water.
There was also an ashtray filled with cigarette butts nearby.

Toxicology results also showed Houston had marijuana, anti-anxiety drug Xanax,
the muscle relaxant Flexeril, and the allergy medication Benadryl in her
system.

The singer also had build up of plaque in her arteries that can restrict blood
flow and is common in drug users. The coroner’s report said she had a
history of substance abuse, as indicated by a perforated nose.

Houston had battled addiction for years but friends and family have said she
appeared committed to making a comeback in the months before her death.
