You never know quite what you fill find at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York City, or in all of the other shows that take place during Design Week in the City. Where else would you see Alex Randall’s lamp made of real taxidermized rats?
I have been attending the show for the last four years. It’s not as big as the Milan show, but it’s huge, and if designers and manufacturers want to get your attention, they have to stand out. For it to get into TreeHugger, it needs to have something to do with the themes we talk about on the site; Here is a sampling of the things that have caught my eye in the past.
