The mask will be equipped with teensy turbines on the inside
We already harness the power of the wind to produce electricity, so why not harness the power of our own breathing? Designer Joao Lammoglia created an iPhone charger concept called AIRE that looks pretty much like Darth Vader’s mask equipped with tiny turbines on the inside. These turbines will turn and produce electricity whenever you breathe into the mask.
Lammoglia believes that if ever the mask becomes an actual product, it will not only save electricity, but also encourage exercise. After all, the harder you work out, the harder you breathe, and the faster you fill your phone’s battery. But it can of course be used just about anywhere and any time of day — as long as you’re alive and breathing.
