Carolina Panther quarterback Cam Newton stormed out of a post-Super Bowl press conference which caused many of us to say what a poor loser he is. Denver Bronco quarterback, Peyton Manning revealed what Cam was like after the big game and it’s a slightly different story.
Manning described Newton as “extremely humble.” Hard to believe, huh?
Manning was interviewed by “TODAY” and he revealed what the 2 QB’s said to each other right after the game.
Here’s Peyton’s full quote and then the clip:
“Sure I tell ya, um, Cam couldn’t have been nicer to me. He was extremely humble. He congratulated me, uh, wished me the best. I told him just congratulations on his outstanding season and just what a great future he has ahead of him. He’ll be back in that game, I can promise ya. So, I’ve been on that side of it. It is tough, it is not an easy pill to swallow, but he was very nice to me and I really appreciated that.”

As far as Newton’s performance goes, it sucked. Walking out of the press conference was a joke. And his pre-game comments which had a racist type of overtone were uncalled for as well.
Hopefully he grows up and acts like a man instead of a spoiled, angry Obama loving scumbag.
God Bless.
