Ramallah, (PIC)– Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested nine Palestinians on Tuesday 20 Palestinians from different areas in the West Bank and 1948-occupied Palestine.

Local sources reported that the IOF raided Palestinian homes in the village Azzoun, east of Qalqilya, in addition to the towns of Toubas, Bethlehem, al-Khalil and Nablus and arrested 16 Palestinians.

Local sources in Tubas reported that five Palestinians were kidnapped, on Tuesday at dawn, by Israeli soldiers who invaded the city, and searched several homes.

The five kidnapped residents were identified as Bilal Yacoub Abu Hasan, 20, Ameed Omar Abu Hasan, 20, Nash’at Mohammad Abu Hasan, 20, Dia’ As’ad Ashoush, 26, and Moath Issa Ghazzawy, 19.

The army also broke into and searched the homes of Adel Hasan Abu Yablaan, 35, and Mohammad Jameel Thieb, 26.

Eyewitnesses reported that the soldiers also invaded the Al-Far’a nearby area, installed several roadblocks, and interrogated dozens of residents; no arrests were reported.

Meanwhile, the Israeli police arrested four Palestinian youths from town Dborah, in northern 1948-occupied Palestine, under the pretext of resisting the occupation.

IOF spokesman stated that Israeli police and a force of border guards arrested last night four youths from the village of Dborah aged between 23 and 25 years old, on suspicion of throwing a Molotov cocktail at the Israeli police, while they were in the village, no injuries were reported.

The source pointed out that the detainees will appear today in court to extend the period of their detention.
