FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 26th International Islamic Unity Conference on Monday, Larijani said that the West seeks to keep Muslim nations apart from each other.
“Muslims experienced a number of approaches in their encounter with the modernity and the development of the Western world; the first approach was that the West tried to make Muslims believe that the path to progress is in issues such as secularism.”
Larijani further said the West advocated the separation of religion and politics, adding that the Western and Eastern imperialisms replaced religion with nationalism in order to achieve this objective.
Describing religious conflicts as the West’s plot against the Islamic world, Larijani said, “The US is still seeking to sow discord among Muslims and pursues the policy of driving a wedge between Muslim countries.”
“Muslim countries are in possession of technology and energy resources, and the factor of the resolve to unite the Muslim countries around Islam can make them more successful,” Larijani said.
The two-day 26th International Islamic Unity Conference started in Iran’s capital, Tehran, on Sunday with the presence of Shia and Sunni thinkers from 102 countries. The participants discussed the issue of unity in the Islamic Ummah and the existing problems of the Muslim world during the two-day event.
