FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda “Today, leaders of the Western countries regard the Zionist regime [of Israel] as an additional burden on their shoulders and no longer consider it a strategic ally,” Nasser Abu Sharif said on Tuesday in a meeting on Islamic Awakening and Anti-Zionist Resistance at Tehran’s International Quran Exhibition.
He added that victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran weakened Israel’s “security belt,” which included pre-revolution Iran, Turkey, Egypt, and Ethiopia, and the current wave of the Islamic Awakening will totally destroy it.
“The Islamic Revolution in Iran was the turning point of the Islamic Awakening, which reverberated in other Muslim nations not only as a revolution, but also as founder of a powerful government,” Abu Sharif noted.
The Palestinian official stated that Iran’s Islamic Revolution has made defending the oppressed, especially the cause of Palestine, its main ideal, noting that if the Islamic Revolution had not happened in Iran, the world Arrogance would have dominated the whole region.
He said the US tried to expand its domination over the Middle East region by waging wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, but resistance movements have so far blocked Washington from achieving its objectives in the region.
