Two people have been killed in a car accident in Western Australia’s south, bringing the state’s road toll to four.
Emergency services attended the crash site on Albany Highway at Kendenup, 350km south-east of Perth.
The crash happened just before 10.30am (WST) on Thursday.
Police have confirmed the female passenger and male driver were both killed.
Albany Highway has been closed in both directions, with significant traffic delays expected.
No other details of the accident are yet available.
The death brings the national holiday road toll to 29.
