The Liberal Party in Western Australia received a $200,000 boost in donations in the 2010-11 financial year while the state Labor Party recorded a $70,000 fall in money gifted to it.
WA Electoral Commission figures released on Wednesday show the Liberals received over $1.8 million, compared to just over $1.6 million in 2009-10.
The WA Labor Party, meanwhile, recorded a $70,000 fall in gifted money, down from $217,000 in 2009-10 to $147,000 in 2010-11.
Not included in the figures are donations to political parties below $11,500, which do not have to be declared.
