Lets start with two basic statements regarding the known facts of this case.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance to find a bleeding woman and a possibly injured baby, and they found the worthless dirtbag who had committed these acts of violence.
Police attempted to subdue the man unsuccessfully, then shot the man to death while he had his hands in the air surrendering.

Now I can hear those squeaky wheels-a-clinkin’ for all of those mindless police supporters. I can hear the two-bit voices in their heads cry out:

“He was a piece of shit, he got what he deserved.”

But you see, copsuckers, police are not the hand of karma. They are not canned justice to be served and consumed in one sitting. They are public servants who have sworn to obey a specific set of rules and laws while upholding the law of the land. Whether or not this piece of shit woman and child abuser was the scummiest fuck on the face of the planet, it is the job of the police to be above such wanton violence and enforce the law within the confines of the law. Badges do not grant special rights. They are not a free pass to kill, regardless of how low down and awful the person they have to deal with is. There are laws, and if those who do not enforce the laws do not follow them, then they mean nothing.

When you attempt to justify a crime on the basis that it was committed against a criminal, then you have disregarded all respect for the law. The law, supposedly, is what prevents society from becoming US vs. THEM. Yet when you put the law aside in order to favor one group (cops) over another (criminals) you have turned the idea of civil peace via laws upside down and reverted right back to the US vs. THEM in which our legal system was, allegedly, created to prevent.

Since the average person breaks about three laws a day and since cop supporters cheer on cops who break the law, I am guessing that almost nobody in our society really cares about the law. Some, like those of us at CopBlock.org, care about justice and transparency and accountability. But it seems most of the blind, mindless police supporters put about the same amount of thought into it then picking their favorite sports team or brand of automobiles. They are not cheering for justice, the law or even what is right. They are cheering for ‘MUH TEAM!’

The team sports mentality of human beings has been used to take advantage of humans for time immemorial. While technology, information and communication increases and we seem to be speeding fast forward into the future, one thing remains. Stupid people are really fucking stupid and really easy to predict and control. As intelligence keeps moving us forward there will undoubtedly come a moment in time which stupidity becomes a fatal function. And the intellectual lemmings who cheer on cops when they break the law are at the very front of the pack heading full speed towards the edge of that cliff while a few of us stand on the sidelines trying to save as many as we can.

Your choice, dumbasses. Learn to think consistently and critically or all the questions you chose to ignore now are going to come as a big surprise when you find yourselves flailing midair after you run full speed, fueled by ignorance, from the edge of humanity.
