On Twitter, a video that appears to show a sizable amount of American military hardware in the Polish port city of Gdynia has been circulated.
A number of American tanks, APCs, and military trucks can be seen at the port in the video, which was also released by a Latvian Twitter news outfit.
According to the source, on February 22, 2023, “the equipment belonging to the US Army’s 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team […]” is positioned in the Port of Gdynia in Poland in anticipation of being redeployed to the American mainland after participating in Operation Atlantic Resolve.
The program, which the US has been conducting since 2014, aims to increase the US’s influence in Europe. As part of the campaign in December 2022, some 700 military vehicles were transported to Poland, including the American main battle tanks Abrams.
Yet, certain media sites in Poland and Ukraine did not think twice to report that some of the military equipment seen in the video will be sent to Ukraine, where Russia is still conducting its special military operation. The Military and the White House have not yet made any comments on the situation.

The tape was released while the US had already provided Kiev with security and military aid totaling more than $100 billion since the start of the Russian special operation. The US said in January that it would supply Ukraine 31 Abrams tanks and eight M88 recovery vehicles, but added that delivery would take some time. Poland and Germany committed to sending the Ukraine many Leopard 2 tanks.
The US and its allies have been providing Kiev with numerous sorts of weaponry systems, including air defense missiles, multiple launch rocket systems, tanks, self-propelled artillery, and anti-aircraft guns.
Moscow has consistently warned the West that arming Kiev will only serve to prolong the crisis in Ukraine. The Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized that providing weapons to Kiev by NATO nations is “playing with fire” and that any military convoy for Ukraine will be a valid target for Russian forces. For his part, Sergei Lavrov, the foreign minister of Russia, emphasized that western nations are actively participating in the war in Ukraine.
