FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda US officials had better stop fueling disappointment and fear and providing the Israeli regime with support and instead move towards constructing and rebuilding structures devastated in Israeli attacks, Rahimi said in a meeting with Lebanese political and religious figures in Beirut on Thursday.
He added that the current problems in Lebanon have been imposed on the country by outsiders and emphasized that Lebanon is still suffering from the destructive outcomes of Israel’s “brutal” attacks carried out under the auspices of the US.
The vice president censured the US dual policies and said, “Washington gives any support to the Israeli regime to attack any country it wishes. It pays costs for devastation in the region but does not pay for construction and development.”
Rahimi expressed Iran’s resolve to implement all agreements reached by the two countries.
Iran’s first vice president, heading a politico-economic delegation, arrived in the Lebanese capital of Beirut on Wednesday on a two-day official visit to hold talks with the senior officials of the country.
