FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda An American soldier shot and killed his fellow soldier on Thursday, during a safety briefing on the massive Army post. He then turned the gun on himself, said Colonel Kevin Arata, the public affairs officer for Fort Bragg. He added that the shooter was taken into custody.
A third soldier nearby was also injured in the shooting that took place in a unit area, Arata also said.
Considering the incident as a tragedy for the community, Arata insisted that the motives behind the shooting were not yet clear.
Special agents from the Army Criminal Investigation Command were sent to the scene to probe the case.
Fort Bragg has the largest population among the US military posts, with around 55,000 military members and 8,000 civilians. It is the home to the country’s Army airborne, Special Operations and Army Reserve commands, including the 82ndAirborne Division.
The US soldier’s fatal shooting has once again raised serious concerns over a growing trend of shooting among the American soldiers.
