FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda “Certain regional states and aggressive countries such as the US and the Israeli regime have joined hands and hatched a plot against the Syrian government,” Secretary General of the International Islamic Awakening Conference Ali Akbar Velayati told reporters on Monday adding, the plot will target both the Syrian government and nation.
He emphasized that the Syrian people should determine their own destiny and the public’s problems would undoubtedly be resolved based on the reforms which are underway by the Syrians.
Velayati said as announced by Iranian officials, Syria’s fate should be determined by the country’s people.
Those who are interfering in the Syrian issue have no democracy in their own countries, he added.
The senior advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said certain individuals in Syria receive orders from other countries. They carry weapons and bomb residential areas.
Syria has been experiencing unrest since mid-March 2011. The violence has claimed the lives of many people, including security forces.
The West and the Syrian opposition accuse the government of killing protesters, but Damascus blames ‘outlaws, saboteurs, and armed terrorist groups’ for the unrest, asserting that it is being orchestrated from abroad.
