The Washington-based Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS) said commercial satellite imagery obtained on April 9 from the Parchin site “raises concerns that Iran may have been washing inside the building, or perhaps washing the items outside the building.”

The US, Israel and some of their allies have repeatedly accused Iran of pursuing military objectives in its nuclear program without offering any evidence corroborating such allegations.

When asked about reports that the US State Department may remove the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) from its list of foreign terrorist organizations, Mehmanparast said such moves could reveal the nature of Western countries.

The MKO has been on the US State Department’s list of terrorist organizations since 1997. The terrorist group has also been blacklisted by many other countries and organizations.

“We believe that despite the claims that others (Western countries) make about fighting terrorism, they provide the most support for terrorist groups,” he added.

“In Europe the MKO has already been removed from the list of terrorist organizations and they are completely safe to continue their activities,” Mehmanparast said.
