The secretary was treated at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire paramedics
and transported to a local hospital for medical assistance where he was
admitted for “treatment for non life-threatening injuries,” the sheriff’s
department said.
Only minor injuries were reported in the other vehicles involved in the
accidents, according to the statement.
“The investigation is in its preliminary stages,” the sheriff’s department
said. “At this point in time, there is no indication that alcohol or drugs
played a role in the collisions. All parties were cooperative with law
enforcement.”
