Ever since that tragic shooting where nine people were shot in the Emanuel A.M.E. Church in Charleston, South Carolina last June, many people have demanded the removal of flags, statues and other historical items they say are “racist.” Sadly, they are achieving their goal. Even in Texas.
INFOWARS reports:
Statues of Jefferson Davis and Woodrow Wilson were removed from the campus of the University of Texas at Austin Saturday after a local Confederate heritage group failed to block the move at the state Supreme Court.
Announcing the plan earlier this month, University President Greg Fenves stated that the statue of Davis, a leader in the Confederacy, would be removed from UT’s Main Mall because “it was no longer in the university’s best interest to continue commemorating” him, reports the Statesman.
Wilson, a Democrat president known for praising the KKK, was moved as well merely to “maintain symmetry on the mall.”
The Davis statue, which has stood at the University since 1993, will reportedly be placed in the UT Briscoe Center for American History at a later date.
Confederate flags have been taken down. Graves of Confederate generals are going to be dug up. These idiots even want to remove the beautiful stone murals at stone mountain!
Stone Mountain has been targeted by the anti-Confederate insanity that began sweeping the country in the aftermath of the attack on Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston back in June. Stone Mountain hosts “the largest high relief sculpture in the world,” depicting Confederate President Jefferson Davis, along with Generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson. It truly is an amazing feat and a magnificent work of art.
These are sad times in America. Obama has done more damage to race relations than anyone imagined. It’s seriously unbelievable…
