Melissa Harris-Perry strikes again, this is the most disgusting lie based propaganda I’ve ever heard. She’s nothing but a race baiting, hateful progressive. Shame on her and shame on MSNBC for using their reach to spread these evil lies. She may not think blacks are seen as American citizens, but most normal and Christian people do.
MSNBC should fire her ass but I’m sure that she fits in nicely along side of people like Al Sharpton. This whole “News Network” (And I say that lightly) does nothing but play to the eternally offended people of the world while spreading the “I’m a victim” mentality.
This is the same idiot that said “We need to get over the idea that kids belong to their parents…”

During Saturday’s “Melissa Harris-Perry” on MSNBC, host Melissa Harris-Perry and University of Connecticut professor Jelani Cobb discussed Hurricane Katrina and the perception of African-Americans in America. Harris-Perry stated that she noticed people in New Orleans during Katrina wrapped themselves in American flags, and weren’t labeled as Americans, but rather refugees by the media.
“The media, from my perspective, was complicit in. I’ll never forget just how difficult those images were of New Orleanians literally wrapped in American flags or waving American flags and being labeled not as Americans needing rescued, but as refugees.”
Cobb explained that people in Katrina, as well as Walter Scott and other recent African-Americans shot by non-African-Americans, are not seen as citizens and have had to “deploy new forms of media to establish” their “humanity.”
Really… I think we should ask Dr. Ben Carson, Condoleezza Rice, Allen West and so many others what stake they have in America’s society. They and many others seem to have one. Although people like her, who are race baiters, I don’t recognize as good Americans. They prove daily they are very UN-American by pushing their agendas onto the masses and setting race relations back so far it could take decades to recover from.
I have news for all of you, blacks are Americans, if they want to be. There have been countless blacks that have served their country and given their lives to protect it. We need to stop all this racism, we are all Americans (not African, Native, Asian, Irish, Mexican etc… Americans). It’s time to stop labeling people except for being American period. Any who wishes not to be, I’m sure we could direct you in the direction of your choosing.
