AN ultralight has crashed in the NSW Riverina, killing the pilot, a man believed to be aged in his fifties.
Police and other emergency services were called shortly after 3pm today, following reports an aircraft had gone down some two kilometres from Temora Airport.
The body of man, thought to be aged in his mid-fifties was found at the crash site. No other people were on board.
Wagga Wagga police have established a crime scene and the Australian Transport Safety Bureau was notified of the tragedy.
Investigations in the crash are continuing this afternoon.
