‘Thousands of anti-war campaigners in Britain are expected to hold the mass rally in Grovesnor Square at 1:00 PM, expressing their opposition to any tough action against Iran and urging their government to withdraw forces from Afghanistan and stop posing the threat of intervention in other countries like Syria.
The one-day demonstration organized by campaigns including Don’t Attack Iran, Troops Out of Afghanistan, No Intervention in the Middle East, Stop the War Coalition, and Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND), will be addressed by anti-war activists such as Kate Hudson from CND, Lindsey German from Stop the War, Jeremy Corbyn MP, veteran politician and writer Tony Benn, Afghan activist Mitra Qayoom, and London Assembly member Murad Qureshi.’
