UAF joint secretary Weyman Bennett slammed the UK government’s response to the current economic crisis for leading to mass unemployment.

Calling on the delegates to mobilize fight against the new British Freedom Party, made up of members of racist groups EDL and British National Party (BNP), UAF national officer Martin Smith warned that the new party is seeking to “unite the electoral and street wings” of fascists.
Earlier this month, supporters of the BNP and EDL fascist groups staged a protest against the case of Asian men accused of child exploitation and sex offences outside Liverpool Crown Court, which ended in violence, racist abuse and arrests.
The protesters condemned the British police, claiming the force did not prosecute the offenders, despite the fact that they were demonstrating at the court where the offenders were being tried.
