The unnamed man filed a report with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), the world’s biggest organization dedicated to alien investigation, for further analysis, as revealed by Express.co.uk this month.
The image he supplied to investigators appeared to show a strange missile-shaped object hurtling in the area of the world-famous towers.
But now shock new evidence has been put forward to suggest the strange-shaped object was just a bird snapped in an odd flight formation, as it passed the buildings.
In a report to MUFON, the cameraman had said:
“We were visiting WTC Ground Zero with my wife. I was capturing continuously, without focusing, a specific object. I captured many photos. In one minute I captured three photos consecutively.
“After my holiday, while I and my wife were viewing the photos, we found an unknown object and it was flying above. We didn’t detect it with our naked eyes when we were visiting the World Trade Center.”
The witness did not believe it was a normal aircraft he snapped in the air.
He wrote:
“I don’t believe that the US Government lets an ordinary vehicle to fly above there. Maybe this is an undetected vehicle or it was a UFO.
“In one photo there are colorful circles. In photo two the circles are replacing and a UFO appears suddenly.”
