Here’s Today’s Department of Defense Contract Awards


U.S. SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND

Arma Global Corp., Tampa, Fla., has been awarded a $500,000,000 single-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide TACLAN family of system acquisition, design, integration, production, and delivery in support of U.S. Special Operations Command.  The contract will be performed in Tampa, Fla.  Procurement funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.   U.S. Special Operations Command is the contracting activity (H92222-12-D-0010).

Thales Communications, Inc., Clarksburg, Md., is being awarded a $390,000,000, single-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the Capital Equipment Replacement Program of the legacy multiband inter/intra team radios with the joint enhanced multiband inter/intra team radio variant in support of U.S. Special Operations Command.  The anticipated period of performance is not to exceed four years and six months.   U.S. Special Operations Command is the contracting activity (H92222-12-D-0010).

AIR FORCE

Al Raha Group for Technical Services, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is being awarded a $95,000,000 firm-fixed-price and cost-no-fee contract for third party logistics services supporting repair and return of F-15 assets for the Royal Saudi Air Forces.  This contract includes repair services for 4,500 national stock numbers.  The location of the performance is Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.   Work is to be completed by Nov. 30, 2013.  WR-ALC/GRWKB, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity (FA8505-12-D001).

NAVY

Dragados USA, Inc., New York, N.Y., is being awarded a $41,167,978 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of base entry point and road at Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune.  The work to be performed provides for the construction of approximately five miles of four-lane divided roadway from Brewster Boulevard to Sneads Ferry Road; two water crossings using the top down construction method; and land bridges.  The work to be performed also provides for the construction of a new security gate complex, which includes a visitor’s center, guard shacks, canopies, parking, and associated Anti-Terrorism Force Protection systems.  Construction includes all signalization systems, road signage, and vehicle inspection areas.  The contract also contains three unexercised options, which, if exercised, would increase cumulative contract value to $61,240,000.  Work will be performed in Jacksonville, N.C., and is expected to be completed by April 2015.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with seven proposals received.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (N40085-12-C-7714).

Blackhawk Constructors, L.L.C.*, San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a maximum amount $30,000,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity construction contract for renovation, repair, replacement, alteration, and minor construction services for projects at various locations within the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Northwest area of responsibility (AOR).  No task orders are being issued at this time.  Work will be performed primarily within the NAVFAC Northwest AOR, which includes Washington (94 percent), Oregon (2 percent), Alaska (1 percent), Idaho (1 percent), Montana (1 percent), and Wyoming (1 percent).  The term of the contract is not to exceed 36 months with an expected completion date of March 2015.  Contract funds in the amount of $30,000 are obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with 12 proposals received.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Northwest, Silverdale, Wash., is the contracting activity (N44255-12-D-7009).
