Two teenagers have been killed and three others injured after the car they were in crashed into trees by the side of the road yesterday.
The white BMW sedan rolled at Barkers Lodge Road in Mowbray Park, in Sydney’s south-west, just after 11.30am.
A 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old female died at the scene.
Another male passenger, 19, had to be freed from the wreckage and was flown to Liverpool Hospital in a serious condition.
The car’s 17-year-old female driver, and another female passenger, also 17, suffered minor injuries.
AAP reported that one of the five teenagers was partially ejected from the car.
The road remained closed for a number of hours while police tried to determine what happened.
