Police in Melbourne have arrested and charged two more men over a shooting that saw a 27-year-old man dumped outside a hospital in a critical condition.
Shawn Edward Walker, aged 27, suffered a single gunshot wound to the leg at Tullamarine on Tuesday and is unlikely to survive, a court has heard.
Police say he had been dropped off by a man and woman in car outside the Sunshine Hospital, bleeding heavily and needing to be placed on life support.
Tony Nguyen, 25, of South Melbourne, and Hoang Nguyen, 24, of Fitzroy, were arrested on Friday afternoon and charged with intentionally causing serious injury.
Both faced an out-of-sessions court hearing and were remanded to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Earlier, Khais Nasery, 27, of Preston, had appeared in court on Friday to face the same charge and was remanded in custody to appear in court again on July 30.
He did not apply for bail.
