An investigation is underway into how an ultra-light plane caught fire and crashed in south-west NSW yesterday, killing a man and woman.
The aircraft crashed into a property on Stokinbingal Rd, Cootamundra, at 6.30pm last night.
A 50-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman died at the scene.
It is believed they took off from Temora not long before the crash.
A crime scene has been established and officers are trying to determine exactly what happened.
