(Scroll down for video) Two Israelis were listed on “The Sexiest Scientists Alive!” list for this year, according to press reports in Israel.
Uri Laserson, a researcher at Harvard University and MIT, along with Tali Sharot, a faculty member of Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience at University College London, were named at the 37th and 38th place of this year’s list. This is another reason for the State of Israel and the Jewish nation to be proud.
Two Israeli scientists made the list of the “50 sexiest female scientists” selected each year by the “Business Insider”. Site editors making the selection wrote: “these women are not typical scientists wearing white coats. Some women on the list are actually rising stars.”
Named number 37 in the list is Tali Sharot, who is the faculty service member of cognitive psychology and neuroscience at University College London. Sharot is known as Doctor of Psychology, and she completed her degree at New York University. She is also a descendant of Karl Marx.
Dr. Sharot is investigating neuroscience in emotion, social interaction, decision-making and memory.
One place below, at number 38, is Uri Lazarson, just 29-years-old, who is the founder of Good Start Genetics and a researcher at the Harvard-MIT Joint Health Sciences and Technology. Lazarson was born in Tel Aviv, Israel and holds U.S. citizenship.
In the video below you can watch a speech given by Tali Sharot.
