Two denied bail over Sydney boy’s stabbing

Two teenagers who allegedly knifed a 17-year-old boy during a brawl in Parramatta earlier this week have been denied bail in a Sydney court.

The 18-year-old men, from Toongabbie and North Parramatta, are charged with stabbing the youth during a fight between a group of young men at the Argyle Street bus interchange in Parramatta on Monday night.

The two men have been charged with a range of offences including assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Police said they were refused bail at a hearing in Parramatta Local Court on Saturday.

They are due back in the same court on Monday.
