Two people died in separate car crashes in a tragic 12 hours on Victorian roads.
Police say a woman in her twenties died when her car left the road and hit a tree in Doreen, in Melbourne’s outer north, around 4am (AEST) on today.
They say at around 2 p.m. this afternoon, a man who’s believed to be in his early twenties was also killed in a collision with a tree in Cobram, in the state’s north.
Victoria’s road toll now stands at 93, six ahead of the same time in 2011.
