Tunisia and Algeria are in complete agreement on all regional issues, Tunisian Foreign Minister, Othman Jerandi, said yesterday.
Jerandi spoke following a meeting with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune in Algiers. “I expressed to President Tebboune how much we respect and love Algeria and the Algerian people, as well as our attachment to the existing brotherly relations between the two countries,” Jerandi was quoted by the Algerian state TV as saying.
During the meeting the officials discussed “ways to develop and strengthen mutual relations between Tunisia and Algeria,” the foreign minister explained.
The Tunisian official hailed what he described as “personal relations that bind Presidents Tebboune and his Tunisian counterpart Kais Saied,” adding that their relations are based on “mutual respect and fraternity.”
