IRNA – An earthquake measuring 4.2 Richter jolted Maziyjan region in Darab city in mid-south province of Fars on Monday early afternoon.
According to the report of seismography center affiliated to Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 13:54:01 and its epicenter was 20 kilometers underground and its location was 308 kilometers east of Shiraz city, capital of Fars province.
There is no immediate report on possible casualties or damages.
