They Said It’s A METH Lab, But Were Cooking Something MUCH Worse In Other Bedroom…

Dean James AMERICA’S FREEDOM FIGHTERS

As you know, there is a methamphetamine epidemic here in the United States. Meth is one of the most powerful and devastating drugs available. It not only destroys the lives of the users, it also is devastating to others that are unfortunate enough to be associated with these ‘tweekers.’

Case in point. Police in Missouri responded to reports that a meth lab was operating in a trailer park in St. Charles. When they arrived, they not only found a meth lab but they discovered something much more horrific- they found a 2-year old child COOKED TO DEATH from a space heater that had been left on for 2 days!

The tweekers, Kathleen Peacock and Lucas Barnes were cooking meth and partying and apparently were too busy with their meth-fest to check on the child and as a result, the child is dead.

Two-year-old Braydon Barnes had been left unattended for 38 hours in a room with a space heater that did not have a thermostat to turn it off, CBS St. Louis reports.

Peacock told authorities that she heard noises coming from the child’s room and thought about checking on it, but apparently her drugs were much more important.

Kathleen Peacock and Lucas Barnes, both in their 20s, face abuse or neglect of a child resulting in death, as well as drug charges.

Peacock is also currently pregnant and faces previous child endangerment charges for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol with the child in the car.

Both are being held at the St. Charles County jail.

St. Charles Co. Prosecutor Tim Lohmar says both parents face Class A felony charges of abuse or neglect of a child resulting in death, as well as manufacturing a controlled substance in a home with a child. He believes Peacock and Barnes were using drugs, which is why they didn’t respond to the cries of the child, and that Braydon was also malnourished, dehydrated and very thin. An autopsy showed he had not eaten for at least two days.

Amanda Shea at Mad World News adds that Missouri has such a problem with inept parents that they’ve had to put “crisis nurseries” in place, where people can drop off their children if they can’t handle them, feel overwhelmed, or would rather do drugs than do their job as a parent. Although this was available to Peacock and Barnes, the centers also rely on people exuding an ounce of responsibility to take them up on the offer.

Rather than giving drug addicts chance after chance to choose their children’s well being over their drugs, the kids should be taken at the first grossly irresponsible offense. This would ensure the child’s safety and keep them alive, while the parent either self destructs or gets better. If the latter happens, they could get their kids back, but the state is more concerned with protecting degenerates and letting them keep their kids, who die while the adults are given too much time to prove that they aren’t capable.

Like I said, meth is extremely powerful and if you suspect that your child may be experimenting with it, my advice is to take extreme measures to put an immediate end to it. This drug is deadly…
