Prepare to enter “The Newsroom.” But don’t worry: Aaron Sorkin’s eagerly anticipated new series drama is full of typical Sorkin comedy.
The new “Newsroom” trailer below highlights the more comedic aspect of the new 10-episode HBO drama. From the young newsroom staff to Jane Fonda’s scene-chomping media mogul, there will be plenty of reasons to crack a smile during “The Newsroom.”
Jeff Daniels stars as Will McAvoy, a take-no-bull news anchor who, along with his new executive producer played, by Emily Mortimer, attempts to revitalize their news program, “Newsnight.” John Gallagher Jr., Allison Pill, Thomas Sadoski, Olivia Munn, Dev Patel and Sam Waterston also star.
“The Newsroom” premieres Sun., June 24, 10 p.m. ET on HBO.
