TEHRAN, March 14 (Shana) — Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh said Iran and Russia can swap oil and gas.
Following a meeting with Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak in Tehran, Zangeneh said: “Iran and Russia can have effective cooperation in oil and gas trade and swap.”
“Cooperation with Russia is a sustainable policy in our plans,” said the Iranian official.
He also expressed hope that Russian firms will be developing oil and gas fields in Iran in the near future.
