A teenage boy charged with bashing a man with a baseball bat in his western Sydney home will face court on Wednesday.
The 15-year-old was one of two people who allegedly broke into a house in Baden Street, Greystanes about 11.30am on Sunday, police said in a statement.
The pair allegedly bashed a 20-year-old man in the house with a baseball bat before taking off with a gaming console.
The victim had to receive treatment to his face and left arm in hospital following the attack.
Police said a teenager from Airds, in Sydney’s west, was arrested in relation to the incident about 3pm on Tuesday.
He’s been charged with aggravated break and enter and causing grievous bodily harm.
He was refused bail and will front Parramatta Children’s Court on Wednesday.
