Despite the tremendous challenges of 2020, the graduating class of Mount Scopus has achieved truly excellent VCE results.
- Median study score was 38
- 9% of study scores at 40 or over
- Median ATAR was 93.6
A spokesperson for Mount Scopus said: “We are immensely proud of all our students, who have shown profound resilience and determination throughout this demanding time.
Special congratulations go to Joshua Golshevsky and Marty Schwarz who each achieved a “perfect” ATAR of 99.95 and are jointly named ‘Dux of the College’.
Additional top VCE performers were Lachlan Durra (99.8), Noah Bajayo (99.75), Nathan Lenga (99.4),Jack Davis (99.3), Daniel Livnat (99.05), and Zoe Smorgon (98.95).

Congratulations to Jack Davis, the highest performing student in Extension Hebrew at Melbourne University.
Principal, Rabbi James Kennard said, “Transitioning back and forth from in-person to online learning whilst maintaining motivation for studies was exceptionally demanding for our students. We are therefore prouder than ever at their achievements, and we thank their teachers for their endless support and commitment.”
