The activists, who come from Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt and Arabs residing in Britain, gathered to show solidarity with the long-suffering people of Gaza.
The convoy members brought about 4 tons of urgent medicines that are needed in Gaza hospitals.
The group is also going to tour some areas and hold meetings with the Palestinian legislative council members and some officials.
Palestinians and pro-Palestinian activists stress that the international community should interfere to end Israeli’s blockade on Gaza.
The besieged Gaza strip has been subject to brutal Israeli air strikes since March 9, 2012, leaving over 20 people killed and more than 60 injured.
Over 35 defenseless people including 9 children were injured during an attack by Israeli warplanes that hit a 4-story building at the early hours of March 12.
“Israel will continue airstrikes against Gaza as long as necessary,” said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blatantly on Sunday.
Israeli warplanes and ground forces have frequently raided Gaza since the end of the December 2008-January 2009 attacks on the people of Gaza. Most victims of the attacks are civilians, including women and children.
The recently arrived activists will stay for a week to assess the humanitarian situation under the siege and the destruction caused by Israel’s ongoing aggression.
