There are also reports of clashes between government forces and terrorists in Damascus suburbs, the northern city of Aleppo, Dara’a in the south and the eastern city of Dayr al-Zawr.

A number of terrorists were killed during clashes in Dayr al-Zawr and at least five vehicles equipped with machineguns were destroyed in the outskirts of Aleppo.

Meanwhile, Press TV correspondent is Syria has said that armed men posing as Syrian soldiers are killing civilians in Aleppo in a bid to tarnish the image of the country’s security forces and increase the outside pressure on Damascus government.

Armed men in army uniforms have so far killed many civilians in Aleppo’s Salah al-Din neighborhood, our correspondent added.

Syria has been the scene of deadly unrest since mid-March, 2011 and many people, including large numbers of army and security personnel, have been killed in the violence.

Last week, four top Syrian military and security officials were killed in a terrorist bombing at the headquarters of the National Security in the capital.

The West and the Syrian opposition accuse the government of killing protesters. But Damascus blames ”outlaws, saboteurs and armed terrorist groups” for the unrest, insisting that it is being orchestrated from abroad.
