Syria: Delivery of weapons and money to the FSA

The next Tuesday, say the 10.April 2012, should be another historic date on the agenda of Syria and the United Nations (UN). The long aspired ceasefire should begin in Syria on 10 April.

The Syrian government in the capital Damascus has announced this appointment for the ceasefire after the second meeting of the so-called friends of Syria in Istanbul, Turkey. The Syrian government wants to comply the six-point plan from Kofi Annan.

At the insistence of Russia, the Syrian government has probably caved in and will do the first step. On Thursday, Kofi Annan has once again directed an appeal to the Syrian government to implement the ceasefire actually, but to be honest Annan should have also done the same with the armed groups and the “Syrian National Council” (SNC).

So far, the behavior of Kofi Annan`s seems also very one-sided. Meanwhile, the so-called opponents of the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, who are not partly not only interested to overthrow him, but also to murder him and his family, like some members of the external Syrian opposition have stated in recent weeks, also declared that they will put down their weapons no later than 48 hours after the withdrawal of the regular Syrian army.

Of course, nobody can be sure that all armed groups in Syria, including the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA), will have the real intentions to do so; it rather seems like they will continue the fight and use staged and faked videos to blame massacres on the Syrian army and government. This means, they will try to accuse the Syrian government to not stick to the ceasefire. Business as usually for the dubious “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) and the questionable, partly Islamistic, “Syrian National Council” (SNC), based in Istanbul.

The hopes for a cease-fire are large. The Syrian people in some parts need rest and a return to a regular daily routine, without having to constantly live in fears. Without the fears to get into crossfire or being kidnapped, tortured, raped or even killed by the armed groups and members of the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA), because they have the wrong religion, wrong stance or are just useful victims.

The Syrian government in Damascus has already said after the announcement of the implementation of the ceasefire in Syria that they have begun with the withdrawal of troops in different areas of the country.

Of course, the so-called “Syrian National Council” (SNC), a tool of Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the USA, has another statement about this withdrawal of the regular Syrian troops, and the NATO countries use these questionable statements of the dubious external “Council”, without verifiable evidence; but it`s useful for the propaganda purposes and questionable interests of the NATO countries. It`s the same that happens since over a year.

These members of the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) and the mainly Islamistic “Syrian National Council” (SNC), in which at least 250-280 members (from 350) are Islamists, confirmed by opposition members and e.g. Reuters, stick to their strange reports, that the regular Syrian troops were even increased in some parts of Syria and that a new offensive has begun.

Of course, why should these dubious guys report the contrary and why should NATO countries doubt it? It`s another perfect statement for propaganda purposes to implement another “regime change” in an Arab country.

None of the representations are verifiable, but one must also remember that the regular Syrian army has still the duty to protect the whole Syrian population and that even some new reports (Vatican, Human Rights Watch (HRW)) made it clear, that some parts of this “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) are a dangerous threat for the Syrian population, especially for Christians and other minorities within Syria.

It`s understandable that the regular Syrian troops wants to provide for peace in the areas of Syria where the violent activities of the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) has increased, also because of the support with money and weapons from foreign powers, e.g. from some Gulf States like Qatar and Saudi Arabia. It`s a fact that the dubious and partly very radical members of the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) aren`t able to wash their hands in innocence, even if these facts are not emphasized too loud in Western media and even when Western media and governments (also the Vatican and Human Rights Watch) are not really interested to repeat these horrible facts.

Of course, for propaganda purposes again. Maybe they`re also felling some pressure already. Like the Vatican, also Human Rights Watch (HRW) and Amnesty International (AI), have known about the horrible acts of the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) since over 7 months. The same county for BBC, CNN, Fox News, Sky News, ARD, ZDF and other Western state media. Maybe some should raise the question why they are so interested to keep silent about it.

The allegations against the Syrian government are continuing, but are still unconfirmed and not verified. Nothing new since over a year. The well-supported and financed “Syrian opposition”, which gets the support from abroad, remains in their questionable presentations and reports, although more and more seem to put these information into question, but still not enough Western journalists.

The question remains: why are these so-called journalists not interested in objectivity, confirmations and the investigation of these statements and these so-called groups? Journalists? Copy Paste means journalism? Great. They’re not interested in reviewing of all the accusations and their verifications; even when they know that the e.g. questionable “Syrian Observatory for Human Rights” (SOHR), based in London, has a huge lack of credibility, they`re not interested in and still use this “Observatory”, the two-man Muslim Brotherhood-show, as source. Again, really journalism?

Furthermore, the Syrian (external) opposition reports again and again about new deserters, fleeing from the regular Syrian army, to join the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA). But what to think about these numbers? Sometimes, there were reports of around 20000-25000 deserters of the regular Syrian army.

Considering these numbers, the question arises whether the chaos in Syria would not be much larger then. As some Western experts of affairs in the Middle East have also stated, these numbers cannot be the real amount and the real amount of deserters of the regular Syrian troops should be much less than those sold numbers.

The numbers of deserters, published by the dubious “Free Syrian Army” (FSA), are not verifiable and are likely to be questioned very much. The fact is that the violent and partly sectarian “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) gets huge support from foreign countries, e.g. some Gulf States like Qatar and Saudi Arabia, which are interested to replace the Syrian Shiite leadership with a Sunni, also the Alawites in Syria are a huge thorn in the eyes of Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Not to mention the Christians and some other minorities within Syria. That`s also one reason why some have already reported about a ethnical cleansing in the Syrian city of Homs, supported by Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Hillary Clinton. Considering that Human Right Watch (HRW) was so long silent about this all, does this mean they have silently accepted this?

Human Rights Watch is just mentioned as an example for Amnesty International, the Vatican, France, United States, Britain, Germany and a lot of more institutes, organizations and governments. As even the (questionable) Foreign Minister of Libya has confirmed already, Libyan rebels are fighting at the side of the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) in Syria; not to mention the Libyan al-Qaeda thugs who are also in Syria now.

More Libyan fighters are expected to somehow arrive in Syria (with support from Turkey, Jordan, and Lebanon…). They mainly arrive in Syria through its border with Turkey. After the last meeting of the false “Friends of Syria” in Turkey, it is clear, that the Gulf States (Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia…) financially supporting the armed fighters and that this funding of the armed opposition forces will increase even more in the next days.

Such an act is sure in contrast to a decrease of violence in Syria. Not to mention the support with weapons and ammo from foreign powers. NATO, United Nations (UN) and some Gulf States are so damn hypocritically in their behavior and statements that it`s just to hope that more and more Western citizens wake up.

Also the “AIPAC-darling”, Hillary Clinton, has confirmed the American support for the armed rebels in Syria and also the US-support with communications technology for the Libyan mercenaries, radicals and religious fanatics in Syria. No surprise, this “regime change” attempt is in the interests of the U.S. administration, but maybe not in the interests of the American citizens. Also nothing new, considering the Foreign Policy of the United States in recent years. Americans can say “thank you” to e.g. a Lobby like AIPAC. Of course, there is already so much evidence for the existence of weapons smuggled into Syria.

Considering all points, statements and recent developments, the question arises, how this ceasefire in Syria should work, when the West and some Gulf States are not really interested in a ceasefire? Why are the West and these Gulf States arming and financing the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) (and other fighters…), if they really want to achieve a supposedly ceasefire in Syria? It`s a contradiction in terms, an oxymoron. That´s one reason why we call it hypocritical.

The so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) has no unified leadership and the dubious “Syrian National Council” (SNC), based in Istanbul, has no full control about all armed fighters within Syria. Another point why it`s questionable if these sides will stick to a ceasefire in Syria.

As we can predict it, they will not stick to it, but the Syrian government will be blamed, doesn`t matter what will happen. It`s again useful for propaganda purposes. That`s it and maybe this is even planned already, what would not really surprise us.

If some say about the Syrian government (perhaps rightly) that the Syrian government in the capital Damascus plays on time gain and will not implement a real ceasefire and the withdrawal of the Syrian troops, then the same applies for the side of the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) in Syria.

The “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) has no reason to lay down their arms. They have defined their target clear: the downfall of the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, after the Libyan model. Some members of the “Syrian National Council” (SNC) have already stated that al-Assad and his whole family should be killed like the former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi (Qaddafi).

Why should these people comply with a cease-fire in Syria? The 48 hours deadline, demanded by the „Free Syrian Army“ (FSA) for laying down their weapons after the withdrawal of the Syrian army, poses a high security risk.

Who can guarantee that this time will not be used to spread chaos and suffering and why do they demand this? Even if the ceasefire is implemented in Syria, the “Syrian National Council” (SNC) still rejects any negotiations for a real peaceful solution for the Syrian people, but this just confirms again that this Islamist council doesn`t care about the welfare of the Syrian people and are just puppets of Western and Gulf States interests.

The fact is that the situation in Syria is deadlocked. The West wants a regime change and to replace the leadership in Syria with the puppet-”council” – the “Syrian National Council” (SNC), currently based in Turkey. Interestingly enough, the West supports Islamists, a new development? Maybe, maybe not… Afghanistan could be a key word.

The Syrian government in Damascus is itself harmful to Syria and the Syrian population. What has the Syrian government done so far to alleviate the suffering of the Syrian population and to actually implement reforms?

Also in the Syrian government itself, there are rival powers, and especially some individuals who are only concerned about their own advantages; they work for themselves and not for the Syrian cause and Syrian way.

As long as there is no clean-up within the Syrian government, Syria will not be able to extricate from the current situation and the future will not include a lot of benefits, compared to the last ten years in Syria. Not to mention that the dubious “Syrian National Council” (SNC) is no option for the huge majority of the Syrian population. That`s a fact.

They rather stick with the internal opposition and / or the current government and to explain it again, the most Syrians make differences between the Syrian government (regime) and the Syrian president, Bashar al-Assad.

Of course, even if a false play from the opposition is predictable, the Syrian government is urged to implement the ceasefire and to withdraw the Syrian troops. But considering the latest attacks from the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) against Syrian soldiers and also against Syrian civilians, reported from yesterday and confirmed, one wonders who is the real monster in this partly misused, already staged and more and more sectarian “revolution”?

It seems that the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) has found a new way to plunge the country into chaos. Bombings, which clearly bear the hallmark of Islamist terrorists, are mostly used now, also against civilians. Of course, the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) blames this on the Syrian government, as usually. It`s just not true but good for the propaganda purposes of the external “Opposition” and the West.  A strategy for the broad media support.

Mass media brought in line. Nothing new, take a look at Günter Grass, the German author, and his legitimate criticism of Israel. The events afterwards showed what to think of mass media and also how Israel always acts, even when criticism is correct.

The UN Security Council (UNSC) was particularly fast in the statement that Syria must implement the ceasefire on Tuesday, 6.00 local time clock (Damascus), and even China and Russia agreed with this statement, although this agreement by Russia and China doesn`t mean very much.

The opposition remains 48 hours longer time, so as of Thursday, 4/14/2012, to lay down their weapons. It`s interesting that the West speaks of armed rebels as opposition. What would happen if such an “opposition” would be in Britain, Germany, France or the United States?

Finally, we should mention it again, because Western media has decided to ignore it mostly, that the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) tortures, kidnaps, rapes and kills Syrian soldiers and civilians and also uses child soldiers to achieve their goals. Don`t be brainwashed, think about all the stuff, your media tries to sell to you.

On April 11, the day after the Syrian government troops have to lay down their arms and after the withdraw of Syrian troops from the cities, Kofi Annan will travel to Tehran (Iran) in order to discuss with Ahmadinejad about Syria.
