Thursday: Verizon Communications Inc. added 193,000 FiOS Internet customers in the first three months of the year to end the quarter with 5 million. The company says it will stop selling DSL Internet service in areas where FiOS is available. DSL is slightly cheaper than FiOS Internet service, but much slower.
