Police have set up a register for all patrons who attended the Bungalow Bar in Broome on Saturday night to find the killers of a 32-year-old who was stabbed to death outside the nightspot.
The man died from his injuries following an altercation outside the club, having been at the club to celebrate Christmas Eve with friends.
Those who attended the club on Saturday night have been asked to contact police and register their presence at the club, either in person at the Broome Police Station, or by phoning the station on (08) 9194 0200.
Of particular interest to police are backpackers staying in the town, who are believed to have been involved in the scuffle.
Police said the man had been at the Bungalow Bar nightclub and was walking alone on Dampier Terrace when he got into a fight with a group of people at about 2am (WST) on Sunday.
The group broke up after the fight, leaving the man injured on the ground where he was later found by a female friend, police said.
The 32-year-old man, from South Hedland in the Pilbara, was taken to hospital by a St John Ambulance officer but died a short time later.
Major Crime Squad officers have gone to Broome to assist in the investigation into the death.
