Social Recap: First Day Of Olympics Play

Even before the Opening Ceremonies, there are games to be won and lost.

Contrary to popular belief, Olympians don’t need to wait for the torch to be lit before taking the field.

Olympic play officially opened today with the beginning of the Women’s Football (Americans: Soccer) tournament.

July 25th was also the final technical rehearsal for the Opening Ceremonies, and the Olympic Torch arrived at the famed Wembley Stadium, home of the England National Football Team and the latter stages of the FA Cup.

If you weren’t in London or watching today, here is what you missed.
