The death of a cyclist in the South Australian Riverland is not considered suspicious, police say.
The 57-year-old man was found lying next to his bike on a road at Barmera, northeast of Adelaide, on Wednesday night.
He had his helmet on and had suffered minor facial injuries.
There were no signs of a crash involving another vehicle but major crash police were called in to investigate.
On Thursday police said the incident was not considered suspicious and the man’s death was included in the SA road toll, taking the tally for 2012 to 40 compared to 49 at the same time last year.
