There is a “real benefit” to Britain remaining in the EU he said. Instead of leaving it was better to remain a member, “fighting for the safeguards we need” for the single market. He spoke at an EU summit in Brussels where eurozone leaders surprised financial markets by agreeing new measures to help struggling members like Spain and Italy.’
