Beth Myers, the Mitt Romney advisor who’s leading Romney’s running mate search, had some “Follow Friday” fun on Twitter Friday afternoon by tweeting a list of politicians considered to be potential vice presidential candidates:
#FF @KellyAyotte @timpawlenty @GovChristie @BobbyJindal @marcorubio @RepPaulRyan @NewtGingrich
— Beth Myers (@BethMyers2012) July 27, 2012
#FF @robportman @bobmcdonnell @CondoleezzaRice @johnthune @Gov_Martinez @RickSantorum

Myers’ only other tweet to date was sent last April, when she was named leader of Romney’s running mate search.
As someone who has worked in partnership with @MittRomney for years, I am honored to lead his search for a VP. #Mitt2012

The list Myers tweeted includes nearly everybody who’s been rumored to be on the VP shortlist and is on Twitter, so Myers isn’t really hinting at any news here. The Associated Press‘ Phillip Elliott put it best:
TEASE! RT @BethMyers2012: #FF @KellyAyotte @timpawlenty @GovChristie @BobbyJindal @marcorubio @RepPaulRyan @NewtGingrich

The Romney campaign is, however, expected to make an vice presidential announcement in the very near future.
“Follow Friday” is a time-honored Twitter tradition wherein Twitter users give their followers recommendations of other accounts to follow.
